Our family motto for 2018! One wind gust in front of the other and adjust our sails as needed. So true when life gets so busy- sometimes it feels like a hurricane! Thank goodness I have my anchors- aka my hubby and the boys (and the dog too;))! Their love and support are unmeasurable. I have to admit the sarcasm, pranks and jokes in the house are definitely life necessities. I shake my head and drop my jaw weekly, but it helps keep the balance and has me laughing long after the situation has passed. My wish for them is that they keep trying and showing up no matter how strong the wind blows. We will just help adjust the sails for each other and sometimes all together.
This year’s session was a bit simpler- mostly bc time was running out and the weather wasn’t cooperating. Thank goodness for Harpers Ferry Adventure Center who were so generous with letting me use a canoe. If you are looking for some fun outdoor activities – definitely check them out!! I’m not sure how much longer the boys will venture out with me, but here’s to hoping at least until forever;)!! Well, maybe 18??
